IOM Skopje implements an informative campaign aimed to raise the awareness of the vulnerable populations on the dangers associated to trafficking in human beings (THB) with particular focus on THB for sexual and for labor exploitation and child marriages as a form of child trafficking. The campaign is funded by the European Union.

The campaign consisted of awareness raising videos, radio message, web banners and billboards and reached the targeted audiences through multiple channels such as TV, radio, web portals and social media platforms.

In March 2019, IOM Skopje informative campaign message was promoted by IOM Headquarters in Geneva on the IOM’s global platforms such as Instagram (50,000 followers), Facebook (420,000), Twitter (107,000) and LinkedIn (191,000 followers), aiming to reach, globally, as many as possible vulnerable migrants at risk of human trafficking.
