On 28th of March 2019, in the scope of the regional project funded by UK Government, IOM Skopje organized a workshop for validation of documents developed by the engaged experts, for the purpose of the conceptualization of the Referral Mechanism for prevention of violent extremism (PVE) in the Republic of North Macedonia. First document consisted of the mapping of the institutional capacities for prevention of violent extremism in the country, while the second document presented the best European practices and recommendations for prevention of violent extremism in North Macedonia. Both documents set the ground for further development of the Referral Mechanism on PVE. The workshop was attended by the members of the National Committee for Violent Extremism and Counter Terrorism, the UK Embassy, IISG, OSCE, CRPM, and other.
